GIARDINO DELLE DUCHESSE 2007

From 23rd ofJune to 2nd of July, in the center of Ferrara, you can see the facades of Renaissance palaces in the unknown Este's court, this unique visit and view can only be possible by entering the Garden of the Duchesse included in the city square and Piazza Castello (open only during this period).

Il Giardino delle Duchesse is closed to public since many years, the opening is inserted into the unique and extraordinary program of events "Ferrara. Renaissance City ", thanks to a collaboration between the Laboratory Agency from the Department of Landscape Architecture, University of Ferrara and the municipal authority. The objective is to show a temporary installation, through a "contemporary translation," the life that took place in the Garden era Renaissance is an extensively described in the chronicles of the time and unedited. These and other issues will be developed through the use of artificial light, the video projections, sound.

In the 10 days of opening events, concerts, exhibitions and cultural events.

Nel centro di Ferrara dal 23 giugno al 2 luglio
è possibile vedere le facciate sconosciute dei palazzi rinascimentali della corte estense, vista possibile solo entrando nel Giardino delle Duchesse incluso tra piazza Municipale e piazza Castello (aperto solo in questo periodo).

Il Giardino delle Duchesse è chiuso a tutti da molti anni; l’apertura unica e straordinaria è inserita nel programma delle manifestazioni “Ferrara. Città del Rinascimento”, grazie ad una collaborazione tra il laboratorio Landscape Agency del Dipartimento di Architettura dell’Università di Ferrara e l’Amministrazione Comunale. Obiettivo dell’allestimento temporaneo è mostrare, attraverso una “traduzione contemporanea”, la vita che si svolgeva nel giardino nell’epoca rinascimentale; è un aspetto ampiamente descritto dalle cronache del tempo ed inedito. Questi ed altri temi si svilupperanno attraverso l’uso della luce artificiale, le videoproiezioni, i suoni.

Nei 10 giorni di apertura spettacoli, concerti, mostre ed eventi culturali.
