TECHNIC FOR PARK CITY PROJECTION 01


The map of the model is perfect on ground level, only there where everything is flat.
The size of the model and the buildings heights differences create a BIG gap in the map scale for almost each building, so that every spot has to be drawn at its particular scale and proportion.
Second fact: the buildings on the model project shadows, that are fine but animation has to handle this aspect.
My solution to all these problems: to draw the projections directly on the model as like it d be a canvas.
To do that I had to go around the model, putting my lapto on a trailer.
